There’s a great lineup of guest speakers confirmed for the upcoming World Animation & VFX Summit taking place Nov. 3-6 in Los Angeles.

One of them is Anthony Hoit from The Graphics Film Company will be speaking on the “VFX: The Importance of Previs” panel. For the past several years they’ve been using iPi Soft’s markerless iPi Mocap on a number of feature films, including the upcoming “Night of the Living Dead: Origins”.

Sergio Rosa, staff writer for Renderosity.com, reviewed iPi Motion Capture for the website last year. He’s now working as an indie game developer on a horror game titled “Enola” and is using the software for character animation. “For a game like Enola, where characters play such an important role, we had the option to either spend many months keyframe-animating all the characters, or using motion capture.
